Terms of Archival Service & Disclaimers (Product Description)

• By purchasing this Archival Vault Search Deposit, you explicitly acknowledge and agree to the following conditions:
  
• Conditional Search Fee Refund & Labor Policy: The $25 deposit covers the physical labor, vintage hardware setup, and meticulous technical diagnostic time required to look through 20 years of physical storage and build your private online preview gallery. This fee is fully refundable only in the event of an entire, total gallery loss where 100% of your session files are missing, physically destroyed, or completely corrupted and unusable. If any portion of your session images is recovered intact and functional, the fee remains non-refundable and will be applied as a purchase credit, even if other individual files within that same gallery suffered age-related decay over time.
  
• The Purchase Credit: If your images are successfully located, uncorrupted, and readable, 100% of this fee ($25) will be applied as a direct credit toward your final digital gallery purchase balance.
  
• JPEG Format Only (No RAW Files): All recovered images are delivered exclusively as fully edited, high-resolution JPEG files. RAW, unedited, or uncompressed camera files are strictly withheld from release and are not available for purchase under any circumstances.
  
• "As-Is" Data and Software Incompatibility: Historical files spanning up to two decades are sold strictly "as-is." Due to the natural age of digital media and shifting modern technology standards, the Seller cannot guarantee that historical files will remain compatible with all future software updates, operating systems, or third-party devices downloaded after delivery.
  

Digital storage media, file systems, and hardware components are inherently subject to degradation, bit rot, mechanical malfunction, and unexpected failure over time. Due to the historical nature of these archives—with some data dating back up to twenty (20) years— We offer absolutely no guarantee, warranty, or representation that your original photographs are still available, intact, or recoverable.

Limitation of Liability: In the rare event that digital files are found to be corrupt, broken, or unreadable after a final gallery purchase is completed, the Seller’s liability is strictly limited to a full refund of the final gallery purchase price. No further compensation, data reconstruction, or third-party data recovery services will be provided.
