We really did get a great day to do Josh and Sandra’s winter engagement pictures in Bismarck! I had really been looking forward to this session. Sandra and her girls have become such special friends over the years and seeing her so happy with Josh is more than wonderful! They arrived dressed in style for some indoor formal photos at the Heritage Center. It’s always beautiful there, no matter the time of year. I love when couples do some of their engagement session in formalwear. It’s not often you get to be all dressed up but also have the time to get some special pictures! Little did we know, that it was also a local highschool’s winter formal day! We finished up just in time to get to see all the teens show up in their best, too!
Then we found some pretty outdoor spots for some snow pictures. It was windy. It was cold…but we expected that. Sandra and Josh did great, laughed and kept each other warm as we checked out some spots at Sleepy Hollow and even a parking lot behind a bank (it had a great view, so it worked great.😍). With a short Starbucks coffee break warmup, we finished up the afternoon with a few sunset pictures before we called it a day! Winter engagement pictures in Bismarck.
