Monica and Garret are such a cute young couple and I couldn’t have enjoyed our evening’s engagement session any more! We made our way around Hazen and even had the opportunity to use some new spots – I couldn’t pass up those flowers (I think they are wild flowers, but who knows?). Along the way I got to hear the proposal story that happened on Valentine’s Day. Garrett was pretty sneaky, not even getting Monica a Valentine’s Day card and waiting until the very end of the day to get down on a knee. She was feeling a little neglected on a day of romance, but Garrett pulled off the most romantic gesture of all! I expect they will have a lifetime of fun and surprises for one another!
As we made our way downtown, I just had to ask if they would experiment with me a little at the newly re-landscaped Heritage Park and the addition of the winding walking path. I love that the recently installed street lamps are recycled from our old hospital! And only in a small town, can you have a special sign made just for you! While we were there, some of our local volunteers were putting up the sign for Music in the Park, but took a little detour and made one just for Monica and Garrett! How awesome is that? Hazen’s done a great job making our little town so pretty!
In just a couple of months, they will be Mr. and Mrs. and we will be doing wedding pictures! I’m so excited for that day to come!
