Perfection is truly the best adjective for this wedding day! It might have even started with their engagement session, which wan’t just beautiful but so uniquely memorable…that bison coming up behind us was incredible (yes, we were safely in the car by mere seconds, before it surprised us).
April and Mike are truly lovers of Medora, North Dakota! They love it’s history and it’s charm, and have they have built a life with this North Dakota gem as a big part of it! So, it was only natural that Medora was the setting for the day they committed themselves to one another!
The weather cooperated, the sun was shining, the wind was minimal and it was warm without being blazing hot! We couldn’t haver ordered a better day. The lilac dresses and gorgeous florals mixed beautifully with the summer landscape of both the town and the badlands! Mike and April shared their touching first look above the Burning Hills Amphitheater, the place of the unforgettable proposal – during the musical, no less! Then we recreated one of the engagement photos but this time in all their wedding finery, with the badlands majestic in the distance! Some fun wedding party photos down in Chimney Park, a lovely ceremony and a party to celebrate made for a day of magical memories!
