Sam and Mike had the perfect spot for a rustic fall engagement session! Beautiful colors, old barn, rambunctious furry friend and the gorgeous Missouri River in the background! I’ve known Sam for quite a while…watched her play some mean hockey, did some senior pics, and spent a wedding together with a dear friend. And its really an honor to be asked to spend one her biggest days yet together – her wedding!
She and Mike are a great young couple. Their love of the outdoors, their dog, football (a little friendly rivalry keeps it fun) really shows through in their engagement pictures.
Sammy (the adorable black lab) was super excited to be included in the session. She even had a little practice being the ring bearer. She was as patient as could be while we balanced the ring on her nose – and right after the snap of the shutter she flipped into the air and tried to snag it with her mouth. LOL. Thankfully she missed or Sam (the bride) and Mike would be doing a little digging later. Yikes!
We finished up down by the Missouri after Mike took me on a long backroads trip to get there. LOL. It was worth it. And I have to end by saying, I am starting to find my around the dirt roads, thanks in part to GPS.
