North Dakota Winter Wedding

I kept a close eye on the weather as Sierra and Morgan’s wedding date drew near….how could I not?  Everybody was!  We were experiencing record breaking cold days, dipping down below 0….way way down below…all the way to -30!  And that was just the air temp, not counting the wind chill!  That’s insane!  But that really had no effect what so ever on our day.  The day so many were looking forward to, planning for and dreaming about.  In fact, it was a gorgeous sunny day, the snow was sparkling and the church was warm and cozy and full of romantic candle light.  Sierra was gorgeous in her flowey lace gown and Morgan so handsome and happy.  The sanctuary and fellowship hall were personally decorated by friends and family and Sierra’s dad’s handmade special touches.  The ceremony was elegant and intimate.  One of my favorite parts was Sierra’s sister, Lacy, singing.  I’m sure there were more than a few teary eyes.  The reception was full of hugs, hot chocolate and laughter – the perfect celebration on a cold North Dakota evening!  I had a hard time narrowing down just a few photos to share, so enjoy some of my many many favorites!
