Surprisingly, after one summer of being in Medora countless times, I hadn’t been there in ages. Meeting Redlin and Ryan there for their engagement photo session was absolutely wonderful and brought back a flood of memories. We arrived in Medora a little early so I could spend some time wandering around looking for some great locations that had the right light and the look and feel of Medora. That was an easy task! Everywhere I turned, there were special little places. We started our session with some pretty areas that showcased the beauty of the badlands. We didn’t have time to get into the National Park, but someday, I hope to do that with a couple and really display the rugged beauty of this unique area. Then we found a neat little stone wall on the way to the Chateau D’ Mores. We finally ended up back in town for some cute photos of the fun downtown areas and all the little shops that are always so popular. It was a fun morning with a great couple before they joined their friends and family for a brunch celebrating their engagement. AimeeG and I, of course, had pizza for lunch, wandered in and out of the shops, got some ice cream and a bag of taffy to chew on the drive home.
