I first saw Laura’s engagement announcement on Facebook and was thrilled for her. We met some years back when she was in school with my kids and I even did her senior pictures. Her photo with the sunflowers still hangs in my studio! Then she took some time exploring life, living in Tennessee! That’s where she and Jacob met. How excited was I when I found out they were both back here in North Dakota?! A spring engagement session here in Hazen is kind of a nice way to welcome that back, right?
This was my first session getting back into the swing of things after some of the Covid-19 restrictions were lifted, and it couldn’t have been better. A sunny evening, light wind and a beautiful couple. They were so fun to chat with and so obviously enjoy being together. Jacob was talking about how he and Laura met and mentioned how he thought she was so beautiful, she must be a model. I couldn’t agree more – beautiful both inside and out!
I am so happy for these two and just know they are off to starting a wonderful life together. Thanks for such a fun evening, and making work not seem like work at all!
