Making your senior pictures unique to you is as simple as bringing along some of your favorite things….like your pet! Taylor brought along her adorable little dog to join her in a few poses, which turned out to be absolutely the cutest photos! Other things to think of bringing to your session include sports items, including balls, jerseys, equipment, warm-ups, etc. Music, instruments, books or collectibles are also fun personal props to consider.

After finishing up in the studio, we loaded up the cars and went to some great locations right around town in Hazen, North Dakota. I have spent quite a bit of time searching out great places all within driving distance to the studio. We can get to various places, each with a unique look within just a few minutes of each other, creating a great variety of senior photos for you to choose from. Choose places such as train tracks, old alleys, fields, gravel roads, riverside, downtown sidewalk and a pretty park. It’s up to you and what you like!

We then chose to spend another day in some special places close to Tayler’s home town. Places she knew and liked and felt would make her photos more personal. She had some great spots! Sunflower fields are gorgeous, but challenging! Be prepared to encounter some bugs. Along the way to the field she picked out, we came across an abandoned farm with a great old fence.
We pulled over and grabbed a few photos there, which turned out to be some of my favorites from her senior photos session.
