Mikaela made the trip from Dickinson to Hazen for her senior pictures session. She chose the Complete Senior Session, which includes both time in the studio and outdoor locations. I like to tell the girls to pack up everything – we may not be able to use it all, but at least you have it. If you’re not sure, just bring it anyway. I have collected a huge variety of backdrops and props as well as have several indoor sets. Sometimes something you may not be sure about will looks great with something I have, or we’ll get a great idea while browsing through the stack of backdrops. Bring things you love and know you look great in. But also be sure to bring along tops that are somewhat simple – solid colors paired with textures (lace, gauze, chunky sweaters, etc.) look fabulous and offer more choices of backgrounds. Its much easier to blend together a solid colored top with a more colorful, patterned backdrop. You can add interest to your outfits with accessories, scarves, hats, jewelry, headbands, and shoes. I have backgrounds that range from vintage feeling to bright and colorful, and from rustic to contemporary. Whatever you bring we are sure to find something perfect to go with it!

After finishing up in the studio we pack up everything and head out to some of the great locations we have around Hazen. We have lots of great places right here, all within a few minutes driving – an old alley, town streets, wheat fields, tree lines, river, bridges, old buildings and more. Again, its easiest to pair up busy backgrounds with simpler outfits, but the best outfit is certainly the one you feel great in! I will help you pick the best outfit with the best location – you just need to bring lots of choices!
A complete session does not have an limitations on clothing changes…so, again, bring it all. Plan on approximately 3 hours of time and we’ll come up with a variety of looks for your senior pictures – both in the studio and out and about!
