Madi and Rory are one the most popular young couples around Hazen. We’ve all watched them grow up, play basketball and hockey, walk Grand March at prom, head off to college, come home to begin careers and now we are all looking excitedly to their wedding in June!
I think more than ever, we are looking forward to this day! COVID-19 has scared us, secluded us and made future plans seem so uncertain. But Madi, Rory and their families are some of the most positive and faithful people I know. Instead of fear, they are living in faith. Faith in God’s plan, faith in one another and faith in their futures….no matter what date the official “start” might be.
We certainly hope for June, but should it need to change, we know the date will be the only thing to change. Their love, commitment, families, joy and hope for all things good are constant!
Not that this has been easy, certainly. So much time, effort and fun anticipation has gone into the planning. And perhaps that is why, when Madi and Rory say “I do” to one another, our whole town will be celebrating with them!
