Bismarck engagement pictures are always lovely but it took us a while to finally get a good fall day. Covid and crazy ND wind had us rescheduling Lexi and Kael’s session a couple of times. We finally landed the perfect fall day in Bismarck! It was a wonderful evening, hitting up a some of Bismarck’s prettiest spots!
Lexi and Kael are the cutest couple and immediately I could tell it would be a fun session. We met at the Heritage Center and though we knew it would be closed, the capitol grounds are always pretty. But it was also really sunny and took some creativity so their faces wouldn’t be glowing in the sunlight. LOL.
Attitude is Everthing for fun Engagement Pictures
Normally, I like to start in an easy spot and let us get to know each other. This is also the time when couples to start feeling comfortable in front of the camera. Instead, we started with the most challenging of spots! Lexi and Kael were awesome! They laughed with me, and didn’t get frazzled or frustrated . With genuine smiles, they went along with my asking them to slightly turn their heads inch by inch, rotate a little this way or that and finally nailing it. Heading to Sleepy Hollow Park, I knew it would be easy and fun- all because they have the best attitudes!
Making Bismarck Engagement Pictures Extra Special
I would describe Lexi and Kael as a happy, fun, kind and easy going couple. Just the kind of people you want to be around! They laugh easily and so obviously love being with one another. Their proposal story is just the best, too! Kael had it all planned out and surprised Lexi at the Laughing Sun Brewing Company. With a bent knee proposal, beautiful ring and her family waiting in the wings, he pulled it off without a hitch. It’s why finishing our session up at their special spot was at the top of their list for “must-do” engagement pictures!
I headed home from Lexi and Kael’s Bismarck engagement pictures session, leaving them sharing a beer at the brewery. I think it was pretty fitting to for them and a great way to continue a fun evening. A post engagement pictures date!
