TiAnna and Tim really shared their personalities in their beautiful and refined Bismarck country Wedding! Their love of the beauty and history of North Dakota really did show through, though the wedding and reception itself was in the state’s capitol of Bismarck. Knowing that they had friends and family coming from around the state (and further), it made sense to host the day’s activities in a more centralized location. Despite being in the “city” they managed to beautifully honor their love of their country lifestyle.
Elegant Country Wedding in the City
Beneath her beautiful gown, TiAnna wore her favorite boots. The brides maids also sported cowboy boots and carried rustic lanterns in lieu of traditional bouquets. While the guys did wear bouts and boots :), they kept it a tad more on the casual side with their vests and jeans. All together the wedding party looked fabulous!
The “first” first look between TiAnna and her Dad was extra special as he could hardly contain his pride and admiration. He remarked over and over how beautiful she was! I love getting a glimpse of these tender moments! TiAnna and Tim made their first look moments unique by standing back to back and praying together before turning to see each other for the first time as bride and groom.
After these intimate moments, it was time to dive right into photos! The whole wedding party boarded the Party Bus and we headed to BuckStop Junction. We had the whole place to ourselves, so we took advantage of all the unique spots by walking the loop around the entire park. From blooming lilacs and arching tree branches, vintage trucks and gas stations, to a classic country church and fun front porch, we were able to capture some truly unique photos!
The ceremony took place in the outdoor courtyard at the Ramada. Tim built the arch that framed the altar area and a special memorial bench was set up for those who were gone but never forgotten. The ceremony was beautiful and had moments of laughter and tears as TiAnna and Tim pledged their lives to one another.
Dancing the Night Away
After the ceremony, we all met inside for cocktail hour, then dinner and a night of dancing. The first dance was sweet and full of genuine happiness. But the father/daughter dance may have stole the show as TiAnna’s dad rose to his feet, face beaming with pride and he twirled his daughter around the dance floor! The perfect ending to their Bismarck country wedding. Oh…but we did squeeze in a fun cigar pic!
