Chasidy and Shane had one of those perfectly lovely evenings we know North Dakota can create….just this particular summer they seemed far and few between. The sun was shining, the leaves were turning into their fall colors and I had a beautiful young couple to have some fun with.
Shane has a bit of a traditional romantic in him, as I learned when they shared their engagement story. He asked for permission and proposed in front of Chasidy’s whole family! Hearing the proposal stories is one of my favorite parts of engagement sessions.
We met up at Sleepy Hollow park and made the most of their grounds, the wooden walkways winding through the fall leaves and the pretty little pergolas spread out and around. Then we headed up to the hills overlooking the Missouri River and did some gorgeous sunset shots.
Chasidy and Shane are one of the couples who won my free engagement session contests, and I couldn’t have been happier to have pulled their name from the hat! Keep your eyes open – I enjoyed this contest so much, that I will definitely be doing it again!
