Nicole and Blake had an absolutely lovely day to exchange their vows and start their life together and husband and wife. After watching the weather all week, monitoring those pesky storms, we ended up with beautiful sun, the perfect temperature and no storms! We reserved Pioneer Park in Bismarck just in case of rain, (it has a a great little picnic shelter), but the storm came the night before so we had clear skies, even it if was muddy on the ground. Nicole and Blake have the most awesome group of friends – not a complaint when I asked them (unknowingly at first), to walk through the mud to find the perfect spot for photos! Thanks guys! You really were the best! We did find a slightly high spot for Blake and Nicole, though. 🙂
The ceremony was both beautiful and personal. I loved the pastor’s message and how he interacted with all – the bride and groom, their parents, their friends and family and the congregation at large. It was really unique and I think made an impression on everybody! I know there was more than just one teary eye.
Nicole and Blake’s happiness was felt throughout the day. Smiles, little glances and touches, and hugs and kisses filled their wedding day. Friends and family were having a great time and shared in their joy and I felt blessed to be a small part of it all.
