I can hardly believe that we are just a couple of weeks away from Sierra and Morgan’s wedding day! It seems like only weeks ago that I heard the great news of their engagement and then we were off taking engagements pictures on a lovely warm summer evening! Now that I think about it, it also doesn’t seem all that long ago that we were doing Sierra’s senior pictures! I am always honored (for lack of a better word) when a family gets back in touch with me for their next big event! I begin to feel like a little bit of their family myself. I get to watch a girl’s story unfold…from the excitement of graduation with a world waiting, to finding a love and life partner! Its really just an honor.
Sierra did find her love and her life partner in Morgan. They obviously adore one another and their easy laughter makes them a joy to be around. Since I had only met Morgan the evening of their engagement pictures, he was a tad bit quiet to start. But after asking about their engagement story, he lit up and I could just feel his happiness as he told me about how he proposed (doing dishes?). The ring is a stunner! As we walked around the old family church a long way out on an even older North Dakota country road, we chatted about wedding plans and future dreams…and we ended up with such pretty engagement pictures.
Now, with the wedding day just a couple of weeks down the road, I am soooo looking forward to it! Its going to be a spectacular North Dakota Winter Wedding, so stay tuned!
