Every year since I started my business here in North Dakota, I have had the luck to photograph senior twins! These girls, however, hold a place near and dear to my heart. I have watched them grow from little kindergarteners to beautiful young women – each unique and talented in her own way. Their family has become friends with my family, the girls close with my kids, and we have shared many life events together. So, it kind of goes without saying, that I had an absolutely fantastic time at this session!
Senior pictures session usually start in the studio, where we can get a variety of more formal photos, close-ups,yearbook photos and some casual looks. I have a great assortment of backdrops to choose from, as well a myriad of posing props such as chairs, stools, benches, and even several built sets. There are choices from vintage looks to contemporary as well as super colorful and fun, so whatever your style we will find just the right combination of backdrop, prop and posing aid.

After we finish in the studio, we pack up everything and head outside. The alley is always a great spot to start and then we can drive to some other special places. Years ago, when the girls were around 7 years old, we did a photo session down by the river. So that’s where we headed next. Along the way we stopped by a few special places that just their family knew about and wanted to use. The old tree was a particular request and worked out just great. If you have a special place, be sure to tell me about it! That’s what makes your senior pictures YOUR senior pictures!

I love taking photos of twins! It important to get photos of them each one their own, to emphasize their individually. And then to spend some time together, to showcase their unique sibling bond.
