Night Light Photo Shoot – Senior Pictures at Night

Now here is something new and something different!  Do your senior pictures at night!  The feeling is completely different and you can style it anyway you want.  The sun goes down, the shadows deepen, places that look one way in the sunlight look totally different in the moonlight.  And that’s when some magic happens.   It does take some planning and some special equipment and definitely a sense adventure!  If you don’t feel silly posing in the middle of the street or against an old soda machine, then you are just the person to try this out!  Do you have a backyard full of twinkle lights?  Great, let’s go there.  I even think that bringing a couple of strings of Christmas Lights along and stringing them up in random places would be a fun idea.   Do you have a cool idea of your own?  Let me know and we can figure out something together!  I am really excited about this twist in senior pictures!  And I really think that this is tailor made for senior photo sessions – fun, different, adventurous!  And imagine the outfits you could come up with to create the over all look – jeans, boot, leather jacket or a romantic flowy (is that a word?) dress, winter coat with fur trim, skinny jeans and high heels – and don’t forget the accessories!

These looks are all about shadow and light, background light,  texture and style.  Give me a call to schedule your after dark senior photo session!  During the summer we probably won’t get your shoot started until quite late – these photos we did around 10:00, but can you think of a more memorable way to spend warm summer night than a great photo shoot?  I can’t.  LOL.    Yes, we got a few funny looks from late night drivers passing by, but that just seems to add to the story of the shoot, adds to the memories in the end there are these great, different, stylish senior photos!
