Intimate Wedding in North Dakota. Covid did turn wedding plans upside down. On the other hand, couples have found creative, intimate and truly unique ways of joining their lives and celebrating their marriages!
Coming Home
Jess and Matt came home to Washburn, North Dakota and married in her family’s gorgeous backyard. They decked the patio out for a wedding with eucalyptus and lavender (matching Jess’s bouquet) decor, flowing white draperies and heirloom furniture as the altar. Immediate family and closest friends were in attendance as witness to their marriage. More guests arrived a bit later to celebrate with food, wine, cake and fun!
All the traditional elements of a wedding day were included from the first look to a fun reception. Other than Jess’s best friend officiating, my favorite part was their union ceremony. Jess and Matt have a love for wine and they used that as the centerpiece. Each box (scroll through the photos) contained a special bottle and was engraved with a date. Together, they nailed the boxes shut to be opened on their future anniversaries! I mean, how unique is that? LOVED it!
