Elgin hometown couple Carly and Tyler celebrated their summer wedding at Lake Tschida on a perfectly beautiful and hot day this August! After rescheduling their original May date, due to Covid-19, their day went off without a hitch!
I loved the vibrant pinks and navy blues that they chose for their colors. Honestly, its been a while since I’ve seen the bright saturated colors and it was just lovely! Just look at Carly’s bouquet! The Lillies were stunning. And be sure to notice the pink underlay of Carly’s gorgeous wedding gown! So so pretty!
Photos at the Downstream Campgrounds
After a tear jerker of a first look with Carly’s dad, we all headed to the Down Stream Camp Ground at Lake Tschida. We had met up a couple of weeks prior and scoped out the spots we wanted to use. Then Tyler was able to secure a campsite that worked perfectly as our photo home base! We even had a shelter for a little relief from the sun. From lovely tree rows, a country dirt road and the water peeking through occasionally in the background, the Downstream is truly picture perfect for a summer wedding in Elgin, North Dakota!
A little trip for some motorcycle pictures after the ceremony, followed by dinner and dancing then capping it off with an epic cigar shot – a perfect summer wedding!
A summer wedding at Lake Tschida is just a beautiful spot, especially for photos. And Elgin is a great little town for a fun reception – where else can you do a cigar shot right in the middle of Main Street?
